  1.INTRODUCTION
  This guide provides information for how to install and use “VIP Cart ” web based application. Web based VIP Cart is divided in to two section - Admin and User. this is perfect e-commerce based user-friendly shopping cart application.
   
  Getting started with VIP cart application.
 

Login Screen-

VIP cart admin and user section  have login sections..
Admin    (Username and password)
User      ( Registered and Unregistered)         
Registered user have username and password.
 
Admin main page-
On admin main page have like-manage user, manage category, manage products,
Manage orders, shipping’s, add discount coupon, news letter, themes, payment gateway,
Manage email format, change password  functionality.
 
User section  page-
On User section main page have  functionality like- Featured product, special product, new products, my accounts, contact us, product search, add to cart functionality, details product, your cart, check out, mini-cart, categories, popular search, authentication-username and password, forgot password. In user profile area- edit profile, wish list functionality, my order, my cart, change password, logout functionality.

  2. INSTALLATION
 

2.1 How to Install this application

 

1. How to install

a. Download 'vipcart.zip' to your local machine
b. Unzip the file
c. Create a folder within 'public_html' on your server.
d. Upload all the folders and files within 'vipcart.zip' to this new folder
e. Change the permission for following files & folders to '777'
  Files: includes/config.php
  Folders: includes, uploads, templates_c, cache
   
2. Now open following link in browser:
'http://yourdomainname.com/newfolder/index.php' where,
yourdomainname.com, would be your domain name
new folder: this can be any folder name, where you would have uploaded all the files.
 
 
  3. You will be on installer file follow the instructions & fill the details required for  installation.
   
  4. Default username & password for admin panel is
 
Username: admin
Password: admin
   
  5. Change The Template
 
If you create a template upload it in following location
'http://yourdomainname.com/newfolder/templates/'
this location is also for editing, customization of template
 
  3. USING VIP CART  WEB APPLICATION
  3.1 ADMIN PANEL
   
  3.1.1 Logging into the VIP Cart Admin Panel.
 
For Administrator  login -
1 Enter Username for login.
2 Enter Password for login
3 Click on submit button
   
 
  3.1.2 Admin Index page
 
While entering valid username and password, admin index page is displayed.
 
Here  admin can see  different modules- manage users, manage category, manage products, manage orders, manage shipping, add discount coupon functionality, manage newsletter, manage themes, payment gateway, manage email format, manage change password functionality, preview site link, sales analytics page, manage site link, home and logout link
 
 
  3.1.2.1 Manage User
 

3.1.2.1.1  Edit User

 
  Admin can Modify/ Edit the user modules following way-
   
1. Modify the Fname in the text field box
2. Modify the Lname in the text field box
3. Modify the birth date in the text field box
4. Modify address line 1 and address line 2  text field box
5. Modify city- zip code in the text field box
6. Modify the state in the text field box
7. Select country from the combo box
8. Modify the phone in the text field box
9. Modify the fax in the text field box
10. Change status – active/ inactive
11. Select check marked  for Newsletter
12. Click on ‘Submit’ button to update user functionality
   
  Added ‘Back’ to page link, Go to the manage user page.
 
3.1.2.1.2  Delete User

Select user and click on delete button, admin can get confirmation message, “Do you really want to delete”, if press ok, user is deleted successfully. If press cancel, user is not deleted.

 
  3.1.2.1.3  Export CSV Selected
  Admin can select the user and click on export selected to csv button, admin can get confirmation message, clicking on open button, csv is exported successfully
   
  3.1.2.1.4  Export CSV Search result
  Admin can export csv search result, clicking on CSV search button, admin can get confirmation message, clicking on open button, csv is exported successfully

  Using active/inactive functionality to control user panel login.
   
  3.1.2.1.6  Manage coupon
  When clicking on manage coupon button, admin can get manage coupon page.
   
  Add Coupon functionality-
 

Admin can add coupon following way-

  1. Enter coupon qty in the text field box.
  2. Enter discount in the text field box.
  3. Select expire date to coupon.
  4. Enter apply on minimum bill amounts.
  5. Select available to user- for all user or particular user.
  6. Enter number of times can be used functionality.
  7. Click on ‘Save’ button.
   
  Added ‘Back’ to page link, Go to the manage coupon  page.
 
   
  Edit Coupon functionality
 

Admin can edit coupon following way-

  1. Modify/edit coupon qty in the text field box.
  2. Modify/edit  discount in the text field box.
  3. Modify/edit Select expire date to coupon.
  4. Modify/edit apply on minimum bill amounts.
  5. Modify/edit Select available to user- for all user or particular user.

Admin can import csv, using import from csv functionality.

  3.1.2.1.7  Add coupon to all registered users-
  By clicking on add coupon to all button, admin can add coupon to all registered user and clicking on ‘Ok’ button, admin can get add coupon form.

  By clicking on add coupon to selected user button, admin can add coupon to selected  user and clicking on ‘Ok’ button, admin can get add coupon form.

Admin can add category following way-

            1.Enter category name in the text field box.
            2.Select base category from combo box.
            3. Click on ‘Save’ button.

            10. Modify/Edit status from combo box- active/inactive.

  3.1.2.3.3 Add Digital Product
 

Admin can add digital products following way-

  1. Enter Product name in the text field box.
  2. Select category from combo box.
  3. Enter price in the text field box ($)
  4. Enter discount in the text field box.
  5. Enter description in the text field box.
  6. Select in stock – yes or no
  7. Select featured mark check box.
  8. Click on continue button.

 
   
  When clicking on continue button, admin can get following screen-

 
   
  Upload type- By selecting files.
 

Steps-

1.Select the files to upload.
2.Select expiry date to the products.
3.Enter valid days in the text field box (Number of valid download days after user purchase)
4.Enter valid downloads in the text field box ( Number of downloads, user can)
5.Click on ‘Save’ button to upload the files.

 

Delete links-

Admin can delete the already added links
   
  Upload type- By enter link
 

Steps-

1.Enter URL in the text field box.
2.Select expiry date in the text field box.
3.Enter valid days in the text field box.
4.Enter valid downloads in the text field box.
5.Click on ‘Save’ button, to add links.

3.1.2.3.4 Edit Digital Product

 

Admin can edit  digital products following way-

    1. Modify/edit  Product name in the text field box.
    2. Modify/edit category from combo box.
    3. Modify/edit price in the text field box ($)
    4. Modify/edit discount in the text field box.
    5. Modify/edit Enter description in the text field box.
    6. Modify/edit Select in stock – yes or no
    7. Modify/edit Select featured mark check box.
    8. Click on continue button.
  Added ‘Back’ to page link, Go to the manage product page.
 
   
  3.1.2.3.5 Delete Product
  Select physical product/ digital product and click on delete button, admin can get confirmation message, “Do you really want to delete”, if press ok, product is deleted successfully. If press cancel, product is not deleted.

 
   
  3.1.2.3.6 Active/Inactive Product
  Active/inactive functionality to control user panel product should be display or not.
   
  3.1.2.3.7 Sorting and Searching functionality
  Sorting and searching functionality on product name, category, price, weight field.

  Admin can remove all filters using clear search functionality

Image gallery functionality is basically used for adding images for product and admin can set primary image for the product.( primary image means, user side product image)

Admin can delete the images as per requirement.

Admin can add newsletter following way-

1.  Enter the from name in the text field box.
2.  Enter from email in the text field box.
3.  Send to- Exclude or include.
4.  Enter newsletter subject in the text field box.
5.  Select newsletter format- Text/ Html editor.
6.  Enter newsletter content in the text field box.
7.  Select send on date.
8.  Enter test mail in the text field box.
9.  Click on “save settings”. button
10.Click on “send & send now” button.

Admin can modify newsletter following way-

1.  Modify/edit from name in the text field box.
2.  Modify/edit from email in the text field box.
3.  Modify/edit Send to- Exclude or include.

5.  Modify/edit Select newsletter format- Text/ Html editor.
6.  Modify/edit newsletter content in the text field box.

  If admin want to clone of newsletter, click on particular newsletter clone functionality, it is displayed same page and if admin want to change and save this clone

  Admin can change status of the newsletter to schedule. Clicking on ‘Ok’ button, newsletter is scheduled on particular date.
